LIFT-Philadelphia is thrilled to announce the addition of Robert F. Smith, Vice President of Community Investment for Comcast’s Freedom Region, to its regional Advisory Board.
Smith is a 24-year veteran of the cable telecommunications industry. He joined Comcast in 1994 and has held various leadership positions in government affairs and communications. He is currently leading strategic community investment activities for the Comcast operating region serving customers in the Greater Philadelphia Region and throughout New Jersey.

Bob’s honest and genuine approach to forging strategic partnerships will be a tremendous asset for LIFT-Philadelphia as we seek to further build our presence and impact in the region.”

A native of northern New Jersey, Smith earned a degree in media arts from Jersey City State College and is a graduate of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Program. A committed and involved community advocate, he is on the executive committee of the Pennsbury Athletic Association and serves on Lower Makefield Township’s economic development commission. In addition, Smith represents Comcast on the Advertising Council’s Philadelphia Leadership Committee.
