LIFT-Boston is pleased to announce that David Walker has been selected as the new Chair of the LIFT-Boston Regional Advisory Board.
David is an equity analyst at Trillium Investments, where he joined in October 2012. Most recently, he was a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services’ Boston office. David has spent most of his career at Van Kampen Funds in Houston. His last position at Van Kampen was as Senior Portfolio Manager of the Van Kampen Technology Fund/Morgan Stanley Technology Fund, which was one of the top performing funds in this sector during his tenure per multiple metrics, including Morningstar rankings. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Duke University and an MBA from Vanberbilt.
David joined the LIFT-Boston Board in late 2011. “I’m excited for the opportunity, but humbled by the responsibility,” he said. “I have been LIFTed many times by various organizations and people in my life, and I feel the need to repay the blessings I’ve received.” David will take on the board chair role from current board chair Steve Kenney who has served with LIFT-Boston since the beginning of the regional board in 2010.
