LIFT-Chicago is thrilled to announce that David Heyman has joined our Regional Advisory Board. David Heyman was introduced to LIFT in 2010 after relocating from New York City to his hometown of Chicago with his wife, Alison. David currently works within the Sales and Trading department at JPMorgan Chase. He works with the bank’s corporate clients to manage their foreign exchange exposure. David graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and a minor in Chinese Language. He and Alison continue to remain involved in fundraising efforts for the University.
“David is a thoughtful, soft-spoken leader by example. He represents the best that young professionals in Chicago have to offer and I am thrilled that he’s now on our board,” said Ben Reuler, Executive Director of LIFT-Chicago. “JPMorgan Chase has been one of the key drivers of LIFT-Chicago’s growth and success in recent years. I’ve wanted someone from the company on LIFT-Chicago’s board for some time; of the thousands of JP employees in Chicago David is unquestionably our guy,” said Reuler, pointing to the work Heyman has already done for LIFT-Chicago including his leadership role with the organization’s spring benefit event and championing of LIFT internally at JPMorgan Chase.
Heyman joins a vigorous LIFT-Chicago board that includes leaders from across the Chicago area, including the President of Loyola University Chicago, Fr. Michael J. Garanzini, S.J. “The board already loves David; asking him to join was a no-brainer,” said Reuler.
