Over Memorial Day Weekend, Boston’s City Hall Plaza hosted 20,000 concertgoers for the first ever Boston Calling Music Festival featuring some of today’s hottest musical acts. LIFT-Boston was a key beneficiary in partnering with the festival. 20 LIFT volunteers were given the opportunity to man the event one day and receive free tickets to attend the next day for their hard work. LIFT’s logo was also featured prominently on dozens of Boston Calling advertisements around the city. With the announcement of a second Boston Calling Music Festival this coming September, LIFT-Boston hopes to continue and expand this partnership to help promote our work to more residents of the greater Boston area.
